The OFL 100 is designed to be a rugged, reliable, portable OTDR containing many features required to measure and document multimode and singlemode fiber optic networks. When used by itself, the OFL 100 is a fast, flexible optical fault locator. However, when coupled with a PC, the OFL 100 offers full OTDR documentation.

Its one button operation and easy to read alphanumeric display enable the user to quickly pinpoint the number of faults, their loss, and their locations up to 40 km. Capture up to 98 traces out in the field and send them to a serial thermal printer, or download to a PC for complete analysis using the supplied Windows 95 or DOS based software.

Four models of OFL 100 are available to suit your testing needs. The OFL 100-MM operates at 850 nm for multimode LAN testing. The OFL 100-HR is used for testing singlemode fiber and multimode local loops or campus networks that operate at 850 nm. The OFL 100-LR is calibrated at 1310 nm for singlemode Telecom and C
